The glycemic index, or GI, what is it?


The glycemic index of a food gives an idea about the rate at which it will be assimilated by the body. while food is higher, that will cause a blood sugar , which results ... from a fall. In summary, we eat a product with high glycemic index

It is glucose (sugar) which displays the highest index: 100.

while food has an index close to 100,  the body tends to turn it into fat.
Conversely, while his index is close to 0,  the body burns and promoting weight loss. This index can vary not only from one food to another, but also depend to the modes of preparation that modify the molecular structure .

The highest GI

while food has an index close to 100, the body will easily and quickly turn it into fat. conversly, when the GI is low, close to 0, the food will be more easily burned. Which reveals a much better food for losing weight!
